Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD)
YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) is a high temperature superconducting material. However, it is only superconducting on specific crystal directions. Thus, these superconducting directions must be aligned. One technique is to deposit the materials on a strongly textured, oxide-buffered metal tape.
