Introduction
The five-day EDS and EBSD course covers both techniques and highlights the advantages of using the EDS and EBSD techniques simultaneously. The principles of both methods are presented to give a better understanding of the analytical possibilities.
This comprehensive training uses the APEX™ software for EDS and EBSD data acquisition and EDS data analysis and the OIM Analysis™ software package for EBSD data analysis.
During the course there is ample time for discussions and practice on a low-vacuum FEG-SEM and participants are encouraged to bring their own specimens and datasets for analysis and discussion.
