TEAM™ EDS for SEM Startup
TEAM™ EDS is exceptionally easy to setup and configure. In the User Profile, the system parameters and preferences can be configured specific to a user account. Prior compositional knowledge is a snap to define with the Sample Profile, allowing entry of any prior sample knowledge in terms of elements of interest (or elements that should be excluded in the identification and quantification process). The TEAM™ EDS setup is powered by two core technologies:
Smart Track
With Smart Track’s Environment Panel, the user can easily monitor system startup — and rapidly confirm that the EDS detector is working at optimal performance. SEM operating parameters are collected and controlled. The Environment Panel will check communications between the SEM and the detector, and will alert the user to any problems. Smart Track also provides the expert user with access to advanced level (Tier II) application controls and properties.

Smart Acquisition
Whether collecting a spectra or performing complex phase analysis, TEAM™ EDS makes it simple to attain high-quality results. Smart Acquisition allows any user, no matter how inexperienced, to collect data comparable to the results achieved by a skilled, knowledgeable professional.
Our technology automates routine tasks, permitting the user to:
